Join Our Vibrant Market Community to Discover the benefits of showcasing your locally-produced produce.
Hampshire Farmers’ Markets is a proud not-for-profit membership organisation dedicated to supporting local producers. To trade at any of our markets, you must first become a member and ensure your product aligns with our established criteria.
For an annual membership fee of just £60, you’ll have the opportunity to influence the company’s structure and operations. Members vote on important structural decisions, how the business is operated and our statements of accounts. We hold an Annual General Meeting and several Producer Meetings throughout the year, offering a platform for networking, raising any opportunities, and engaging with the team of directors.
We warmly welcome both primary and secondary producers of food, drink, and crafts that complement our existing offerings.
Below are some of our forms for you to read through. We will send these to you again after you have expressed your interest, using the contact form, a little further down the page.
Our Criteria:
- Source at least 20% of your ingredients from Hampshire or within a 20-mile radius.
- Ensure your produce has been grown, reared, or raised within 50% of its time with the producer.
If you don’t fully meet our criteria, but believe your product would be a valuable addition to our customers, you may still be eligible to trade with us under our guest producer criteria. This is still in line with our strong local, quality and fresh ethos but you would not be a member.
Pitch Fees: You’ll need to provide your own canopy or gazebo with weights on each corner, as well as a table and storage/display units. Our standard pitch fees are £40 (ex. VAT) per market, with festival prices subject to variation.
Application Process: To begin, complete the Expression of Interest form below, and a member of our team will respond promptly. We strive to get back to you within a few days.
Before sending a Membership Pack, we may contact you via phone or email to ensure you understand our criteria and assess your eligibility.
Once you’ve received, completed, and returned your application, we may arrange for a Compliance Team member to visit your facilities and verify your adherence to our criteria through documentary evidence.
