Ingredients
125ml fresh grapefruit juice
25g baby spinach*
1 large apple*, cored and roughly chopped
130g cucumber*, chopped
1 medium-large celery stalk*, chopped
3-4 tbsp. linseeds or flaxseeds
55g frozen mango
2 tbsp. fresh mint leaves
1 tsp. virgin coconut oil (optional)
4 ice cubes, or as needed

Method
Add the grapefruit juice, ice cubes and spinach to the blender and blitz until there are no leafy fragments.
Now add the apple, cucumber, celery, linseeds, mango, mint and coconut oil, blending until super smooth.
Add water if necessary to get it blending.
Pour into a glass and enjoy immediately!
This makes enough for one large and one small glass. In total the smoothie contains 17g of protein! Feel free to substitute the grapefruit juice for other freshly squeezed fruit juices if you are after a sweeter smoothie.
