An independent brewery located in Winchester, Alfred’s Brewery is a family business run by Wintonian Steve Haigh.

Steve produces a range of high quality ales in a small brewhouse within half a mile of the historic city centre.

Years of hard work and the fine-tuning of unique recipes has resulted in award winning flavours that can be enjoyed by those who visit the brewery shop, and from a growing number of local pubs who serve the beer.

Ambrose farm is located in the heart of Hampshire on the outskirts of the South Downs National Park in Upham. Previously a free range pig unit, it currently runs a flock of Wiltshire Horn Sheep producing seasonal lamb, hogget and mutton.

Products include multi-award winning traditional & specialty sausages created by them using Free Range Hampshire Pork and home grown ingredients. The ‘Gilbert’s Originals’ are made to a 100 year old family recipe and have impressed judges and received many accolades.

Other home produced delights include authentic dry cured bacon, pancetta, gammons and guanciale, cooked faggots, black pudding, burgers and meatballs.

Nationally acclaimed salami, cured and air dried meats and their most recent addition to the range - biltong produced from prime Hampshire beef.

Beceries produce high quality home baked products by qualified experienced pastry chefs. Our products are available at local farmers markets, farm shops, coffee shops, sandwich shops, and a number of tea shops also available for private order from our premises.

We make delicious, freshly baked sourdough bread, using only the best ingredients available, organic where possible.

Our aim is to bake artisan bread with modern twist by experimenting with new and exciting flavours but at the same time keeping the traditional methods of baking sourdough.

Blackwater pork is owned and run by Sue and Mike Kenworthy - they started with just a handful of pigs producing pork for their friends and family but very quickly the produce became very popular and the business began to expand and they now producer over 60 pigs

All the pigs are outdoor bred and reared, meaning they can roam freely and forage for themselves.  The herd consists of Berkshires and rare breed Gloucester Old Spots.

They offer handmade sausages, dry cure bacon and joints to order.  

Using milk from our own cows we produce Sussex Charmer Cheese, which is a unique cheese, combining the recipes of a traditional farmhouse cheese with that of a parmesan. Our Twineham Grange Vegetarian Pasta Cheese is the only Vegetarian Parmesan Style cheese in the UK, to be approved by the Vegetarian Society. Our traditionally churned South Downs Butter has been awarded Gold at 'The Great Taste Awards' for each of the last six years.

The Butler Country Estates smokery lies in the heart of Hampshire, a few minutes from the River Test, Itchen and Meon, three of the world’s finest nutrient rich chalk streams. Trout is prepared, smoked, potted and packed within twelve hours of being caught.

Ellie’s Dairy raise their goats in as natural an environment as possible and work to the highest standards of responsible and ethical farming. 

Their closed herd are pasture fed, with access to indoor barn space. Ellie's Dairy goat milk is Fresh Raw Milk which goes into their award winning cheeses. Goat meat is also available seasonally.

We sell a range of South African dried meats, such as Chilli bite snap sticks, Chilli Chunks, Stokkies snap sticks, Peri Biltong and garlic Biltong. Biltong is a popular South African prime beef snack that is tasty and high in protein.

The stall at Hampshire Farmers’ Markets sells wet, freshly-caught shellfish, cooked shellfish, wet, whole and filleted fish. Caught off the Solent coast by 13 different boats, the business has been established since 2001, and is part of Kerri’s family business Viviers UK, set up in 1985 on the quay front in Portsmouth.

A selection of home cooked ready made meals using only the best Hampshire produce, take home or eat hot at the markets.

We also cater for dinner, birthday parties and any event requiring exceptionally delicious and exquisitely prepared dishes.

Lyburn Farm makes a variety of different hand made cheeses, all of which are made from our own cows milk. Although they are pressed, these artisan cheeses are not that close to cheddar cheese. They are, in general, a softer and amore continental type of cheese, with the exception of Old Winchester and Old Smales.

Lyburn Cheese is a hard pressed cheese made with our own cows milk, on the northern edge of the New Forest. The herd comprises 170 pedigree Holstien Friesians, run on 200 acres, the remainder of the farm being down to organic vegetables.

Traditionally run family farm producing exceptional quality beef, lamb and pork. Mill Farm is set in idyllic Hampshire countryside on the banks of the River Wey.

We farm to Soil Association Organic Standards, working with nature to produce the best results rather than trying to conquer it. We use no chemical fertilisers or pesticides.

At market we sell a range of organic beef, lamb, sausages and burgers, Sausage rolls and wool fleeces.

Mrs B’s Bees is a small family business. They currently run 200 hives throughout Hampshire, Surrey and Sussex. Only honey which is surplus to the bees’ requirements is harvested. All honey is harvested individually from each apiary and labelled with the location enabling customers to buy a honey that really is local to them.

Sites are chosen based on their unique benefit for the bees. Each have something special for them to work. Each season they also take around 35 - 40 hives to the New Forest where they harvest a crop of heather honey for which they have won National Honey Show awards.

All the wax products are made from their own beeswax and are made by themselves on a small scale, each with an individual natural aroma of honey.

They have a variety of honey, beeswax candles, furniture polish, beeswax wraps and beeswax sandwich satchels available to purchase at the market or online.

Fish producers based in the New Forest selling a selection of trout products including cold smoked trout and trout pate.

Brown trout (the only native trout in the UK) are grown on their small farm using no chemicals or antibiotics with lots of space and fresh clean spring water.

Wild Venison And Game From The New Forest

Noah’s Ark Farm is situated in Ashley, New Milton, near to Lymington and the New Forest. The Atyeo family have farmed in poultry for many years. Noah’s Ark Farm attend the Hampshire Farmers' Markets twice monthly at Winchester, the second and last Sunday in the month, as well as monthly visits to Romsey and Emsworth 

As well as producing free range whole table chicken they also portion chicken into boneless breasts, thighs, drumsticks, liver and wings as well as a selection of chicken sausages and burgers.

Their laying birds provide free range eggs in sizes ranging from very large to medium. Away from chicken they also produce grass fed lamb at all farmers' markets.

Neil (Kew trained/qualified) Catherine have been growing herbs since '98. Herb plants grown in Hampshire, available from April - July.

"We use traditional growing methods; all of our herbs are grown without the use of any artificial heat or light in order to replicate the conditions they will find in their new home with you and to ensure successful growing on."

Having relocated from London in 2013, we have set up a cut-flower farm on our three acres of land in North Dorset.  We grow a range of flowers and foliage for cutting, selling as both bouquets and single stems.  The varieties grown are predominantly scented to produce fragrant, seasonal English bunches.

Tomatoes have been grown in the Arreton Valley, nestled in the heart of the Isle of Wight, for over 20 years. The Tomato Stall brings the freshest, ripest and tastiest organic and conventional tomatoes from Wight Salads, here on the Isle of Wight, to Farmers’ Markets.

All organic produce grown by the nursery is Soil Association certified and we aim to have as much organic produce as possible at our various locations every week, sometimes as much as 60%. This depends mainly on the time of year and, of course, the availability of fruit. From March to November you should see a great variety of tasty organic tomatoes on our stalls.
