, jamHood Hampshire Honey has evolved around the excess produce given by the bees which Tracey Hood manages in her spare time as a hobby. Her passion for these wonderful insects and the produce they give has developed into a small business which ensures that she can continued to keep her bees healthy and productive.
All her 20 colonies are in Southern Hampshire mainly located in Chilworth, Bassett, North Baddesley and Shirley. The honey collected is individually extracted and not blended so that each jar of honey can be traced back to the location of the hive and when it was extracted. The beeswax obtained is used to make candles and cosmetics.
Local honey is the best and remember that every penny will go back into ensuring the bees are kept in well maintained equipment, given any necessary treatments against diseases and pests and food to ensure a healthy existence which in turn ensures that they continue to pollinate and keep the human race well fed.

Lyburn Farm makes a variety of different hand made cheeses, all of which are made from our own cows milk. Although they are pressed, these artisan cheeses are not that close to cheddar cheese. They are, in general, a softer and amore continental type of cheese, with the exception of Old Winchester and Old Smales.
Lyburn Cheese is a hard pressed cheese made with our own cows milk, on the northern edge of the New Forest. The herd comprises 170 pedigree Holstien Friesians, run on 200 acres, the remainder of the farm being down to organic vegetables.

The farm has been farmed by the Hunt family for 3 generations and continues the tradition with Roy Hunt who is farming pigs, cattle and poultry.
The main animals are our pigs, a cross of Tamworth's which are reared outdoors until nature gets too tough and cold. Quite often you will drive in to be met by some ginger piglets on their daily Houdini routine of escape and adventure away from their parents.
The Tamworth provides a tasty pork and wonderful bacon and sausages all made from our own pigs. We also produce our own hams, black pudding (made the traditional way), saveloy using our own smoked pork belly and now featuring our very own range of 1945 recipes for haslet, pork pies, no preservatives and much more...
Wight Salads Nursery, Main Road, Hale Common, Arreton, Isle of Wight PO30 3AR
Tomatoes have been grown in the Arreton Valley, nestled in the heart of the Isle of Wight, for over 20 years. The Tomato Stall brings the freshest, ripest and tastiest organic and conventional tomatoes from Wight Salads, here on the Isle of Wight, to Farmers’ Markets.
All organic produce grown by the nursery is Soil Association certified and we aim to have as much organic produce as possible at our various locations every week, sometimes as much as 60%. This depends mainly on the time of year and, of course, the availability of fruit. From March to November you should see a great variety of tasty organic tomatoes on our stalls.
