Celebrating 10 Years of Success!

10th Anniversary Celebration PicsAround 150 producers spent a gloriously sunny evening celebrating ten years of Hampshire Farmers’ Markets.

Held at Manor Farm in Broughton, Hampshire, on Wednesday 24th June, the event marked the annual stallholder meeting of the organisation and an anniversary celebration for all involved in the running of the unique weekly county markets.

Guests were treated to a two-course supper of Hampshire fare in the farm yard setting, where speeches were made and an anniversary cake was presented. They were also taken on a tour of the beautiful farm, coming face to face with the Water Buffalo that are reared on the hills below Stockbridge.

Alex Handford, Market Manager, Hampshire Farmers’ Markets, says: “The atmosphere at Hampshire Farmers Markets’ is created by the producers’ enthusiasm, friendliness and willingness to consistently go the extra mile. Celebrating every corner of Hampshire, these dedicated people have given the county a unique proposition that positively boosts the economy and provides a great attraction for both visitors and residents alike.”

The celebrations will continue on Wednesday 8th July with a ‘10th Anniversary of Hampshire Farmers’ Markets’ event to be held at The Great Hall in Winchester for invited guests.
